Born the same year that England last won the world cup, Sian Johnson grew up in market town Mid Wales and moved to Merseyside at 16. Falling into and out of a variety of jobs and experiences and this together with work as a volunteer led to a successful career in community development.  Sian returned to study and graduated in 2009 with a first class BA (Hons) in Performance and Events Production, and has since embarked on a career in the theatre. 

Sian writes with the surname Johnson, performs as Sian Hawthorn, and continues to widen and develop her career in the arts.
