Born the same year that England last one the world cup, Sian Johnson started life in market town Mid Wales.  A varied work history and experiences as a volunteer led to a successful career in community development.  After returning to study as a mature student and graduating with a first class BA (Hons) in Performance and Events Production, Sian embarked on a career in the theatre. 

Sian writes with the surname Johnson, performs as Sian Hawthorn, and continues to widen and develop her career in the arts.
